so they left that garbage in again huh? stupid. what i did was go to create a team and name the coach dimes or whatever nick name you want to remove and take that team into association mode and export it. load the team onto the roster file you want the change to happen on and then rename the coach d or something thats not in the name database and it should no longer say dimes. then just give all your caps the nickname dimes.
