Am I just getting old, or has that thing called "Parenthood" finally caught up with me?

Just a little background. I just celebrated my 34th birthday about a month ago now and I've owned at least one console since Christmas 1987 when I got my first NES. Since then, I've owned a:

My Madden 2010 Thoughts

Wow...what a fun week it's been with Madden NFL 10 on the 360 thus far. Got the game on the 12th, 2 days early from a local store in my town of about 10,000. After playing the past 5 days, I can say with 100% certainty that NFL 2k5 and APF 2k8 will be retired and played for nostalgia or a change of pace; I'm fully committed to Madden 10 now...and that's weird for me to say.

Just picked up TW 10 for the Wii yesterday after hearing Seymour Scagnetti's glowing reviews of it. It was always on my radar, but I thought I'd try to rent it first or something like I had done for the previous 3 TW games on the Wii. As much as they tried during the earlier iterations on the Wii, EA just couldn't get it right to make it a "must have" for the system.

Well, I did it. Yesterday I put down my money and pre-ordered Madden NFL 10 for the 360. I think this is the first time I've pre-ordered Madden EVER in my life, and I'm actually excited about it. First, however, a little history.
