My 2010 Titans Observations Four Games In!

Whew, finally! Was starting to wander if the Titans were going to win one of these things, it was starting to look like the 20090 season all over, with digging just too big of a hole. It may be tough to get out of still, but the first win over Denver is on the board, so we at least got that out of the way. Here are my obervations of the First 4 Games in a nutshell

1. Opener against Oakland -- we simply outplayed them, dominated the time of possession and after giving up 2 quick scores early really controlled the game. Oakland hit paydirt on a huge play with a minute left in the game and it was a heartbreaking way to start the season, especially at home.

2. Steelers Roll -- Wow, they just dominated us. An Old time rival came in and just kicked our tails. They had us on our heels from the blow of the first whistle and it just never really let up. At least we didn't give it away.

3. Giants Kick Four Field Goals and Beat us -- This one was tough and we were just too agressive in the game. Trying to blitz Eli Manning too much and he just beat us on it time and time again. We were able to keep them out of the endzone, and make the team settle for field goals. That was the only bright spot in a game that we just didn't plan well for.

4. A Win in the Rain and Mud at Home against Denver -- Felt great to get the first win. We have to score more points though. We did a great job bouncing back from three really difficult losses and getting that ever important first win. It won't be easy going to Dallas on the road next week, but let's see what we can do and if we can build on this.

Outlook on the next two opponents

We will face a very tough Dallas team on the Road, that is sure to put up points. We need to control the clock and run the ball. We then go to Jacksonville to play the surprise early seasson division leading Jags. Should be a great game, and it's on Monday Night!!!! Yeah Baby!
