Game Notes:
San Jose down by 2 goals would score 3 straight to take a 3-2 lead late in the 3rd.....Brendan Smith would tie the score when he threw the puck towards the net and it found its way in.....San Jose starter Thomas Griess started the game but left midway through, his status after the game was unknown.....Detroit's Henrik Zetterberg and Niklas Kronwall both left the game. Zetterberg will miss at least a week and Kronwall will be a game time decision for the Wings next game against Nashville. If Kronwall cannot play Nikita Nikitin will dress for the game.
