Introducing your Charlotte Bobcats, the 2016 NBA Champions!

Well that game seven didn't quite live up to its billing. But we ended up on the right end of things.

The first quarter started off really rocky. We started off 2/12 from the floor and were down by ten midway through the first. Kyrie couldn't hit the broadside of a barn to start off. Luckily, Mayo got hot towards the end and hit a couple of threes to get us within one. He ended up with 10 points in the quarter.

The second quarter saw the team start to heat up, especially Irving. Kyrie scored 14 points in the second after some hard drives to the basket followed up by a three. We were up 6 at half and feeling pretty good about the momentum.

The third has been our best quarter all year and this was no different. The Thunder looked they were starting to feel the pressure and making turnover after turnover. We were able to outscore them by 12 and end up the third by 18.

The fourth found the Thunder trying to make a comeback in the first few minutes as they got within 8. But then the team stopped the bleeding and put the clamps on defense. By midway through the fourth we were up 24 at one point. Then it was all downhill as we closed them out by 18.

It really looked like the pressure got to the Thunder of being the first NBA team ever to give up a 3-0 series lead. They went 0'fer from the 3 point line. So not only did we bring the first title home to Charlotte, but we did it in historic fashion. Now Jordan can give me another pair of original Air Jordans!

Irving was the unanimous Finals MVP averaging 26ppg/3rpg/8apg.

I really thought the Thunder would put up much more of a fight. I normally have a hard time with them when playing on Superstar level. But Irving, Parker and the rest of the boys were just too much for the big two.
