madden nfl 13 needs to capture the story of franchise. what i mean is the nfl season is a story and each week is a chapter each team writes its paragraph in each chapter. what happens to a team in one chapter usually affects what that team writes in the next chapter and so on until the season ends and the last two teams write the final chapter. then we get ready for the sequel. imo i think that in order for m13 to be successful the game is going to have dynamic presentation and more importantly dynamic commentary to capture and tell the story of the franchise. who broke a record, who is about to break a record, how injuries to certain players hurt their teams in the short and long terms and also how the injury affects the players themselves is it career ending or career altering all these things should be discussed by commentators in an nfl game. i dont usually bust ea's balls but something has to change seriously my favorite sports game has lost its way and it seems no cares but the people who buy the game. i hope these guys/girls can get it right.(i apologize for the lack of organization to this post was in a hurry)

That would be great, I love the way FIFA commentary will reference everything going on. In the old hub, you couldn't tell if something happened to an opponent unless you went to league news. It was cool to make up storylines week to week, but I hope the game makes them more obvious so you can taunt your friends if something happens. Make it more pretty, it was better but it wasn't attractive place to spend alot of time.

This is what I've been saying about NCAA and Madden. As much as everyone is beastin' for real time physics and great gameplay, if I don't care about my game, why play?

What I mean is make the games important. Make week to week different. Make there be some sort of story line. Make Road to Glory be awesome. Make Superstar mode great once again.

No where near the hype train right now.
But anyting's possible

Great post. To add to it I think the gameplay needs to be equally as alive. The problem so many people have is that the game feels the same for the past decade. A whole new set of animations, new ball trajectory, and even cameras would make the game feel fresh again. EA has to make the effort, spend some money and make a great game everyone wants to buy.
