It's 2013...will this be the year that we see NFL 2k14?

With all of the messageboards on gaming websites speculating when we might see another NFL 2k video game return to its proper place. I wanted to poll a question to you all...when do you think we will see 2k return to football video game genre? The current gen systems? Or possibly the next gen systems (Xbox 720). Honestly, I stopped looking and researching this topic until I saw the last video from hiphopgamer regarding nfl 2k return being more possible. if they were to make another then it really makes sense to wait for the new consoles to be announced, then maybe throw up a trailer during E3. Madden is a juggernaut because its the only NFL game around. all EA can do is show off next gen graphics since they just released the new (bull****) physics engine. 2K just needs a big enough stage to show something off. I really hope this is the year... Madden is brutal.

I agree swipe_. I really believe it is time for 2k or someone else step to the football genre again. I don't think EA values the nfl license anymore and after a 9yr run probably doesn't see the need to renew with that high price tag associated with it.
