I'm sure most people are already informed about this, but me myself didn't have a clue.

While it's most likely because of sales, (Which sold more in it's first week than APF2k8 did in it's first two) it'd be interesting whether the move was just made simply to sure up the quality of Madden.

I did see in a thread that designer that led Head Coach, is working on Madden's franchise, so most likely it was known among everyone that this title has been canceled. But man it'd be great to see some of HC features implemented into the franchise. (Future picks, compensation picks?)

And as noted by others, Head Coach hasn't exactly been a yearly release anyway.

Let them take a few years and make the same leaps in quality 09 made over the first one and I'll be downright giddy.

Yeah I always thought that it should be more of a additional mode to Madden. (I mean there game is named after a great Head coach....) I wonder of any of the sales for HC, what percentage actually didn't own madden... regardless of the promotional packaging.
