Yeah I typed that right,

There is a new football game in works to be released this year, making the first time there has been three different developers releasing football games in the same year since 2004. (Unless Blitz and All pro came out same year.)

I grew up an hour from Grambling and UAPB. Unless they are raising money for some of these schools, and some def. need it, this wont fly. The key would be not to charge $60 for this game, maybe $20-30 as 2K did with 2k5. I see that the Rock band drum set could be used as well as maybe the guitar. It is for a specific audience and while so of the graphics and animations look next gen, some look last gen (cymbals). I say if it's mildly successful there should be a part two.

Apparently this is the second one, ian mentioned playing the first of them.

I'm just glad to see other companies stepping up in an attempt to provide some consumer choice.
