Why did the signature-style swing animations (lifelike) go away in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11? I remember playing Tiger Woods 06 and it have PLENTY of signature swings AND you could even alter a default swing style if you pleased. I honestly can not think of a good reason why signature-style swings are not in these games. Where is Jim Fuyrk, John Daly, Rocco Mediate, Boo Weekley, Adam Scott, Rory McIlroy and plenty plenty more?? Surely the motion-capture people can either get with the golfing superstars and have them do their swings or have an imitator try and capture the swings. Come on guys. This cant be that hard. Obviously, im not in the video game making business, but why could they do it 2005 for the XBox and not now? Shoot, i remember TW 06 having, Arnold Palmers little head bobble, Jack's high finish, Seve's quick down-swing, Daly's grip it and rip it, and plenty other signature swing animations. In this game, ive only found Tiger Woods' swing animation matching his true to life form. Seriously, when i saw Jim Furyk's swing in this game, i yelled at my TV. In a gaming world where 2k Sports can input over 100 different shooting styles in their NBA game, why cant EA put, what, 15 to 20 different swing-styles in their game?? Sorry for the ranting and raving, im just a huge-stickler for realism in video games and i love real-life, signature-style animations. Its one of the truest forms of creating realism in a video game. So come on EA, all other sports games are calling themselves "simulations," now its your turn to do the same and have each golfer come in the studio for a little motion capture sessions. Or at best, find someone to mimick the swings themselves. You know the old saying..."imitation is the sincerest form of flattery."
