Reds Hit A Bump

The Reds have ran into a little bit of trouble. Cincinnati is on its longest losing streak of the season, dropping to 5-5 over their last 10 games. They are coming off of a 3 game sweep by the Astro's, as the bats just weren't there, only mustering 6 runs in the three game series. While the starting pitchers have been just shy of untouchable, the bullpen has blown 2 of the last 4 games, and almost blew two more games against the Giants. Chapman gave up his first runs of the year in his last outing. It seems that pitching every other day is getting to him, as he hasn't shown the same stuff as of recently. Drew Stubbs has been hot as of lately and has hit safely in his last 8 games, upping his average to .304. Jay Bruce is 2nd in the NL in average (.354.), he has really shot out the gate fast, and there is no slowing down in site for the big slugger. The Reds look for a bounce back as the slumping Cubs come into GABP for a 3 game series.
