Can I say that I am an EA fan. I have always bought their games and played them and enjoyed them. I have owned the ncaa basketball games numerous times and even own the 08 game.

With that being said, I bought my friend nba 2k8 for his birthday a year ago and we spent countless hours playing it. It was fun, smooth, and well presented. I loved it, so I decided I would try 2k8 college hoops, it was 10 dollars.

I bought it and brought it home. It has been a staple since. I love everything about it. Its got a great legacy mode, great presentation, good announcers (even though, like all sports games, it gets old), and overall has a wonderful feel.

I was so sad to learn that this was the last installment in the series and hope that 2k gives the fans an option for future games.

2k sports ending the College Hoops series totally killed me I can't understand why but, now after years of playing I have moved on this year to NCAA 10.

You'd probably be best with staying with 2k8 if you just got it. Some people moved on because the gameplay gets repetitive after 3 years. I mean what sports game is meant to be played almost every day for 3 years. None. This game amazes me so much, and I am passing on NCAA 10 now, and starting up a legacy. Can't wait.
