The Cleveland Browns showed today why they could be a potential cinderella team this year. The Denver Broncos, while not the toughest team, were stunned at Mile High when the Browns had a 21 point second quarter, completed with a 28-0 halftime lead. Coach Mangini said "We just went out there and executed early on, which led the momentum to carry on the entire game." Cleveland improves to 1-1 on the year.

INJURY REPORT
Cleveland has no injuries. The QB injuries continue, however, as AJ Feely and Matt Leinart have been decided to be out of the whole season. All five QBs that were injured this year will not see another snap until next year, except QB Dan Orlovski, whose fractured vertebrae will prevent him from ever seeing another down.

The Vikings embarrassed a hopeful Cleveland Browns Stadium with a victory 31-10. Even though it was a defensive struggle for both teams at halftime, the Vikings unleashed their offense in the final quarter, blanking Cleveland 18-0. Prior to the fourth quarter, it was 13-10. The Browns obviously need help staying in the game late.

I'm not a fan of preseason and will just sim it. Cleveland went 1-3 with a victory over the Lions. The regular season is set to start, but before that let's have a look at what teams got set back with injuries.

Major Injuries Rock NFL
The Washington Redskins worst dream has officially come true. Before the 2010 NFL Draft, the Redskins traded for then-Eagles QB Donovan McNabb. He played for the Redskins in the preseason, and much to the players and fans disappointment, came out with a season-ending injury. The Redskins medical staff has reported McNabb suffered a "severe concussion" and will not be able to play for the remainder of the season.
After all that, however, McNabb's injury is only the second-most shocking suffered this preseason. QB Dan Orlovsky's carrer as a NFL player is over as he suffered a fractured vertebrae this preseason. Commissioner Godell is expected to issue a speech regarding this injury on Tuesday at 7pm. As for Orlovsky's family, friends, and fans, we wish him the best in recovering from this incident.
Other Notable Injuries
Four players suffered season-ending injuries in the preseason: QBs Donovan McNabb (Redskins) and David Carr (49ers), Center Andre Gurode (Cowboys), and Right Tackle William Beatty (Giants). The Cleveland Browns were one of the few fortunate teams to have no injuries in the preseason.

CLEVELAND BROWNS REPORT
The Browns season opener draws near with high hopes from the fans. Coach Mangini is preparing his players for a new season of football. They will face a tough opening game against the Minnesota Vikings with newly acquired Brett Favre and running back phenom Adrian Peterson. Look for a tough first game.
Browns Report Prediction: Vikings 28, Browns 17.

Hey everyone, I have been to the OS forums for awhile and figured that it would be fun to make my own dynasty. Being a fan of Madden and ESPN NFL 2K5 i loved playing franchise mode, especially with bad teams. Since my favorite team has always been Cleveland, why not? I will be doing this a bit differently, though.

Franchise Info

Settings and Sliders
For the majority of the season I will not play the games. This is for three reasons: (a) The CPU is easy (b) It can get boring and (c) My game is partially messed up so it only works with certain teams That said, when I do play a game (and probably will play 1-2 games a season + playoffs if i make it) I will be using versuz2's gameplay sliders with 7 min quarters and 15 sec runoff.

Realism
I love Head Coach '09. But, I don't have it right now so I have to play Madden. That said, I am not a fan of Madden's scouting feature, I think it is way to easy to find out sleepers and good players in the upcoming draft. I don't use this feature however I will look at the draft class at the beginning of every year. Which means, yes, I can and probably will draft busts and have to deal with them for a few years.

Trades
I will occasionally trade with the CPU, mostly for draft picks. I will make sure the trades are fair.

Update Frequency
I will probably not update this everyday. It takes a lot of time. I will post scores and stats every week as well as standings, draft news, playoffs, etc.

Rosters
I will be using http://www.operationsports.com/forum...0-rosters.html (Roster 414) as my starting roster. It is up to date as of April 14th. However, it also includes 2010 rookies. As much as I want to have McCoy and Haden I won't because no other team will have their rookies. So I changed their names and lowered their ratings way down so no team picks them up.
