PRESEASON TRADE SHOCKS THE NBA
Coming off of the heels of a disappointing Finals loss to the Heat in last year's post season, the Thunder had been bouncing back well. Getting Perry Jones III in the draft, and bringing back all key players, they looked to strive for the ring once again! Until last night when contract talks with reigning Kia Sixth Man Of The Year James Harden went sour. Harden still had this year under contract for approximately 5 million, and the Thunder looked to sign him long term. James coveted a max contract, but with the new luxury tax the Thunder could not make that offer. When he wouldn't accept the offer sheet they made, Harden was traded to the Kings just like that. The trade went as follows: Kings receive James Harden, Thunder receive Tyreke Evans and the 2013 1st round pick of the kings.
