I have a seperate post for your choice of top 5 recievers in the NFL today. I have MR. Ochocinco in my top 5 and have come under alot of critisism for it. Maybe i gave the edge to Chad bc i enjoy watching him play on sundays *not this past season though* haha and bc he can talk trash and back it up on the field. BUt as the blog had more people posting i realize that there are alot of Calvin Johnson fans as well. This kid had a TREMENDOUS season on a 0-16 Detroit Lions team racking up 1,331 recieving yards with 12 touchdowns .. WOW ! But i didnt choose him bc it was just 1 season and he had been quite up until this season. So 1 season wasnt enough for me to choose him over Chad's 8 seasons.
So i wanna know what you guys think.. Which of the 2 are better and why???

warrior310: 6'5 230 means NOTHING ! Steve Smith is 5'9, 185 and is "ARGUEABLY" THE BEST IN THE NFL TODAY ! Calvin is a humble kid. But 1 season wasnt enough to put him over Chad Johnson in my opinion !
This isnt a ? i just randomly posted, this ? came from the blog "top 5 wr in the NFL" and everybody was putting Calvin in there top 5 and a few knocked me for having Chad in mine. So thats how this ? came up.
AND COM'ON MAN ! THERE IS NO WAY CALVIN CAN COMPARE TO RANDY MOSS ! NO WAY IN HELL ! YOU CANT DO THAT ! HAVE MORE RESPECT FOR A PLAYER LIKE RANDY MOSS ! MAYBE 3-5 YEARS DOWN THE ROAD WE CAN MAKE THAT COMPARISON BUT NOT RIGHT NOW WHILE MOSS IS STILL ALIVE AND KICKIN ! NO WAY BRO !
Thanx for posting !

I used to create WR's on video games like Calvin Johnson. Now I don't have to. I can' just trade for Megatron and save five minutes.

I understand your point, Carolina, but what I'm saying is, in the question of who I would rather have on my team now, it is definitely Calvin Johnson. I know you have the other blog of the top five, but ill just put my top five on this one.
1.Larry Fitzgerald
2.Calvin Johnson
3.Steve Smith
4.Reggie Wayne (Idk why, but whenever I watch him play he seems to have an outstanding game.)
5.Randy Moss

tswiatkowski: Im loven the top 5 you got up now, i have no poblem with that.
But i can agree with you that if i had to build a team i would definately go with Calvin ova Ochocinco bc Calvin is young and still has many potential seasons like the 1 he has had in the 08-09 season. Im just showing respect for my man ochocinco and given him his props for performing and putting on a show for 8 years. Although he has no championships in that process he still has did all he could possibly do for the bengals. That orginization needs some serious help ASAP !

Dude, Calvin is a hell of a lot better than Chad is now, probably better than Chad ever was, he is going to be breaking records.

Calvin Johnson no doubt why you ask???? hes 6'5'' and is a speed demon for his size if someone wanted to make the perfect physical specimen at WR its him size and speed. if he can be one of the best in the league on a 0-16 team think how good he could be with stafords big arm going down field. hands down calvin johson.
