NBA Live 13 M.I.A. A Good Thing Maybe?

I had high hopes for NBA Live 13 after playing 2k since NBA 2k5. Every day EA doesn't release some info on their NBA Live 13 game, the less I believe it will be released. However, with all the criticism towards their silence and E3 showing, maybe it wouldn't be the worst thing for EA to cancel their game. Think about it - if EA decided to cancel this year's release, then they could take another year to develop this game. I was surprised when EA actually had not spent 2 years developing NBA Live 13 after they failed to release NBA Elite 11. Honestly, I believe that was the dumbest move ever and they should have went back to what they had with NBA Live 10 and took 2 years to improve and develop a better game, and definitely add a new feature (maybe something to rival 2k's "My Player"). Since NBA Live 13 is coming off only one year of development and is a brand new game, it's possible there won't even be a game, especially with the info 2k has dropped today. They essentially took Live's usage of the right stick for dribbling moves and made it better. Live could be doubting themselves since they may not even have any big gameplay announcements to rival 2k in the upcoming weeks. Therefore, I wouldn't mind if Live 13 was cancelled and EA took another year to intensely develop. After all, I rather they release nothing than release a broken game. All in all, this silence is unacceptable and impatience is growing. EA must tell us what they plan to do soon...really soon! (If you're an optimist or a huge EA fan, hopefully EA is silent because they're saving HUGE news...sorry but it's unlikely).

IMO, there is nothing that LIVE could drop now to change my mind from getting NBA 2K13. Well, there is one thing; a $15-$20 price tag, but even then i would get 2K13 first and pick up LIVE for craps and giggles. 2K just dropped an atomic bomb on NBA LIVE 13. lmao

Man EA need to just release Live13, listen to feedback and improvise the next month.....
