Congratulations to thmst30. As of today he officially has the best looking Arena at OS. thmst30 wins a game of his choice on any console.

Here is what is new this week:

Quoted Chalkboard Replies
By popular demand we have added a "Quote" check-box to all Chalkboard replies. This will help you keep track of "Chalkboard-to-Chalkboard" conversations.

We are currently fixing a nasty bug that is stopping some of you from being able to post blog entries. After that is out of the way we'll be putting the the finishing touches on our new OS Newsletter and starting on the "OS Ticker", a project that personally has me very excited.

Not trying to be rude but what is the big deal with the Arena. I guess I was expecting some sort of customization like offered on My Space or Facebook. The Arena's look very standard and none of the three I looked at looked much different. Again, not trying to be rude... just curious. Thanks!

I will definitely add some screenshot/videos in the future. Lately I have had no time to play games and get some media to put on the arena...........50 pushups done sir.

We'll get there eventually. MySpace and FB have slightly bigger development budgets than we do here at OS, so I would expect them to have more features than us.

Arenas were designed to give OS members a proper identity on OS. Now that everyone can represent themselves via their Arena we can begin working on features that tie directly into your sports games and allow you to expand your sports gaming experience.

Here is an example... shortly you'll be able to type in your 2K Sports username and have your 2K collection of games, stats, shots and videos automatically sync to your Arena. Cool eh?

Imagine an ESPN style ticker that keeps you up to date with what is happening around OS. Initially it will be just an OS feed, but eventually also feeds from actual online games that are taking place and real sports scores. Its an ambitious project.

The OS Ticker sounds cool.

I'll have to trust you on those 50 pushups thmst30 lol. Very nice banner though. I've got to get a nicer one. I'll have to put the wife and her graphics design background to use for me!
