Coach Kelly at Notre Dame has just hired a new offensive coach for this season. The new coach is Byron Flowers from Kentucky he was a great player and was a great coach. Most of you probably reember 4 years ago when coach flowers was dismissed for being involved in a recruiting scheme. How will he fare out at Notre Dame? Seems Coach Kelly is putting his job on the line, WIll Notre Dame rise to greatness and can they stay out of trouble with Flowers there? These questions will be answered this football season.

Current time: The sound of the whistle blowing on a hot August after noon coach Flowers yells, "run it again we will be here all afternoon if we cant get this right!" Coach Kelly quietly observes from the sideline. Coach Flowers disgusted with his players throws his playbook down and demands the players line up and run subsides. He turns and noticed Coach Kelly. Flowers excitedly asked." Coach what are you doing down my way? I bet your down to recruit my rb he would be a great fit in your program." Coach Kelly replies,"Actually I am here to talk to you."
In the coaches office after practice the two coaches have a meeting. Byron I am not going to beat around the bush I need an offensive coordinator that can help me take Notre Dame back to the top of college football. You are an offensive guru and I think you would be a great fit with me. Coach Kelly it sounds great but I can't just pack up my wife and kids. Coach Kelly states,"You will have full control of the playbook and recruiting offensive players. You know the play will top your current job." Coach I need a few days to think this over.

Coach Flowers had this to say after the game "I am proud of our guys we played hard for most of the game. No disrespect but this is San Jose State a team we are suppose to beat. We made a a lot of mistakes on both sides of the ball we can not afford that next week against PENN State. They are a team that will take advantage of mistakes. We are going to practice hard and get ready next week. We will see what we have when we face a much greater team next week.
Coach Flowers: I am excited and overwhelmed that the University of Alabama has chose me to lead the Tide this season. I hope for many many great years here. This is my first opportunity at a head coaching job and yes it is the biggest in college football in my mind. I understand this is a demanding job I understand the fans of the tide demand almost perfection on the football. I am ready to do what it takes to try to meet those expectations. I will say I am no Nick Saban, or Urban Myere, Bear Bryant or any other football coach I am me and I want to do it my way. I hope to be among the greats I have mentioned at the end of my time. So Bama Fans get ready because in a few short weeks the tide will be rolling. Thanks

Oregons Defense played stingy the whole game giving up few yards and causing a lot of turnovers. The offense rolled as well. Coach Flowers commented "next week we will see more of what we are about. Tennessee will be a tough match they are a good club we got to work on our game this week. I did like the effort our player gave they had a swag to them i liked." Come back to check on next weeks game and see if the uptempo Ducks and take down the vols. Should be a great game.
Coach Flowers: I am very excited and eager to take over the coaching job here at Oregon. I am not going to lie there will be some changes I will demand every player play hard. Dont think that just because a player is a senior that they will play. There will be roster changes to fit the style of play I like to coach. What is that you ask. My roots are in the SEC which you may think I like the power smash mouth football and pocket passing qb's. This is far from wrong I like athletes with speed and play smart. I like to spread it out run the option and go with the no huddle. I play aggressive on both sides of the ball I like to blitz and take chances on defense. I can promise you one thing this year the Ducks will be fun to watch.
The press was so stunned that there was little to no questions asked.
