Darrelle Revis next team?
Posted on January 23, 2013 at 10:21 PM.
It's actually possible for the Jets to trade there star CB. He's coming off a injury, in the final year of his contract next season and the Jets dont have a lot of cap space. so they wont be able to afford him. There rebuilding so they need picks and players, and he will only be there this season if hes not traded, but then the Jets get nothing for him when he leaves.

So where do you think he will land, and where you want him to land?

So you have to think, who always has picks, and likes veteran players besides New England? They need him, they have picks, they have the money, they also have young cheap studs waiting to play, and poised for a breakout year. So many teams have a good CB or a elite CB or a good D altogether so who are a lot cheaper than Revis and coming off a injury, will he lose a step during the game, bc thats what matters, not how good you look in shorts.

Other teams who I think could go for him, MIA, BUF, IND,WAS or TEN. None of those teams are that great on paper, except MIA has a great D, and Luck is in IND. Other than that, i dont see a lot of interest in him on playoff teams, bc either they dont have the money, dont have the picks, or just dont have good enough players to make it worth there while to trade for him for maybe a one year rental if he doesn't like it there.

I could see him going to Washington, cause that's just what they always do. I don't see it being some big thing for him no matter where he goes. CB is a position where you see young guys breaking out and becoming really good all throughout the season, I mean Revis isn't even the best CB in the NFL anymore there's a baaaaddd man up in Seattle.

Thanks, and i wouldn't say either CB is Seattle is the best. STL has a young stud in Jennoris Jenkis who was a flat out beast as a ROOKIE. Ros I Dowling was great when he was healthy for NE. And there are a couple other good young CB making plays now. But the the Best has always been between Revis and Asomugha, but Nnambi isnt as good bc he has to force things to make the plays bc his sateties are horrible, if he was with a NE or BAL or PIT i could see him being number 1 again bc when left in man to man he shutdowns WRs better than Revis. Revis i think is the best right now, but if hes not the same after coming back then who's the best?

DRC has gotten worse, Finnegan gets penalized to much, Jenkins could be in another year or two, Hall (CIN) is really good, Joesph is really good, but sometimes struggles against top WRs, BAL and Seattle have a really good number 1 but not the best, McCourty struggles so they moved him to FS, Tillman and Jenkins in CHI are both really good, theres just so many options. If Revis and Asomugha goes to good teams, we could see them be shutdown corners and eliminate the no1 WR. Scary to think is NE gets Revis, to go with Talib, and there going after Ed Reed during FA and analyst think bc BAL are going to franchise Flacco Reed will leave probably to NE. Talk about fixing your defense, Ed Reed and Darrelle Revis in the Same secondary, with Talib and McCourty, with a top 10 D against the run, top 10 in points allowed and fix your secondary NE will be the favorite all year in every game!
