Brady vs Brees top 3 seasons
Posted on January 1, 2013 at 11:43 PM.
Brady and Brees are both 5000 yard passers, both thrown for 4800 yards 3 times each, both went to Super Bowls, and set records.

Brees has thrown for 5000 yards 3 times, 2 times surpassing Dan Marino's record, but this years season he has serious troubles with turnovers and int's and has 53 total turnovers in those 3 seasons and has 125 total scores. But this has only lead to 2 playoff berths, including 1 Super Bowl appearance and victory in those 3 seasons.

Brady has thrown for 4800 yards 3 times, including 1 time over 5000 and surpassed Dan Marino's mark and has 34 total turnovers in those 3 seasons combined and has 132 total scores. Brady in those 3 seasons has lead his team to 2 Super Bowl appearances and playoff berths all 3 times and all times having a bye week in the playoffs. Maybe a 3rd Super Bowl appearance this season if he can get by Peyton Manning and his Broncos but obviously we dont know how Brady's season will end yet since the worst they could do is the divisional round and the best they could do is win the Super Bowl for his 4th time!

So of these two QBs top 3 seasons, all over 4800 yards, records/milestones that have fallen, wins, touchdowns, and turnovers. Which QB had the better 3 seasons?

I will repost this after the season to see how your thoughts have changed depending on what happens. Personally Brees is very impressive, but i would take Brady's 3 top seasons, going to Super Bowls everytime you put up numbers, with no running game or D for either QB really but Brady did it with more consistency, and more TDs and less turnovers helps win games.

I read something earlier today about comparing Elway to Brady which is why i thought of this comparison, Brady is now getting a running game in the last few years in the NFL like Elway did, and they posted Brady could match Elway in winning 2 Super Bowls back to back to finish his career which would be awesome if Brady could match that and surpass his childhood idol for Super Bowl wins, seriously who wouldn't want to be able to say they beat there idol in something?
