Regret buying M13?

With the user reviews the last couple weeks on here and other sites being between 5.0 and 6.0, how many of you regret buying Madden 13? Or are you still holding out hope the suction blocking will be removed, the unstoppable slot WR, editable rosters and fixing CC among others being fixed in a patch. Ive bought madden every this generation of consoles until M13, and went and played some older PS2 madden's and watched some on youtube, and besides graphics (which i dont care about) almost all PS2 madden's are FUNNER than any madden on PS3/360 and with fewer problem AND THERE WERE NO PATCHES BACK THEN WHEN THEY HAD COMPETITION. In the end isnt madden about being fun? It is for me, and i didnt buy M13 and dont think twice about it. It still has apparently unfixable flaws that EA hasn't learned or just dosen't care or have the motivation to fix it bc its not like theres another NFL game to play each year. Its sad, where just about 12 months until PS4 and 720 and still waiting to get out PS2 features added back on or game. I miss the newspaper, the radio show, the customizable rosters every year, actual players doing the intro, etc etc etc. I guess madden is now COD, never changes, makes money and dosent care, and having people say "maybe next year".

for me, there are absolutely some things that need to be fixed, and i hope this happens in a patch in the near future. but i also think there has been some great groudnwork laid for the future of this game. not satisfied, but im very encouraged. i really am enjoying ncaa 13 now after their patch too. although there are still guys who ruin the online experience.

Nope, this is actually the 1st one since the PS2 days I don't plan on putting up on eBay after a month. Of course things need to be fixed there will never be a perfect game but this year's game is extremely enjoyable.

lol alot more ppl like madden this year its a great gm, as 4 anyone saying madden is a 6 out of 10 i would just call them a ***** because madden added SO many improvements this year

Absolutely not! I have been doing a one player online CCM with the Cleveland Browns, and even though the roster is weak, I'm having a blast. It's very challenging trying to get the Browns going.

The game isn't perfect, but I can't deny the fun factor involved in this game. I haven't had any WTF moments where I feel that I was completely cheated by the CPU. I love the Infinity Engine, and the fact that scouting has taken on more importance.

I'm a hockey player, and love the NHL series, but I haven't even purchased NHL 13 due to the lockout. Also because I'm having fun at Madden, something that hasn't happened since Madden 10 before the patch that gave running backs a hitch step.

Diggin it, plus as a niners fan i finally got a good team. Not a bandwaggon dude either, been a niner fan since the montana, rice, ronnie lott days, but still used em when they sucked, and so did the game. Its not a bad game, but hey im old, even tho it dont seem that long ago i was playin joe montana sports talk football thinkin.. man, it cant get any better than this. Keep it real.

I can not enjoy a game that does not provide any sort of CPU AI... They are just bots on the field... No such thing as smart play from the CPU, NO RUNNING GAME, 2 Minute Drills consist of running plays with a last minute Pass, CPU QBs throw lollipops all over the field... For an all user online CCM, this game might be great... I can't find 31 other guys that play sim like I do, to create a league... @dukebeatsuncagain - why cant you just let someone have an opinion, you stunk up my post about "Our Infatuation with Sliders". Dude, Madden is not the best football game out ever. We will see what EA is made of when other companies have the opportunity to brew up some competition...

I forgot to mention that, Yes I do regret buying Madden for full price when I could get it now for almost have of what I paid... A half - finished "Physics" Engine does not put this game on a pedestal... Im sorry, it has a tonnnnnnnnn of bugs and broken areas...
