What do you guys think of the trade and LAs chances of them winning the championship with him and Nash added to Kobe and Artest, and removing the wasted talent of Bynum.

If Gasol goes back to being that physical presence he was when they got him, add Howard, Kobe and Nash. I think they have to be the favorite to win it all. OKC weakness is being physical, why they lost to MIA. MIA weakness is being physical all the time, Howard will take advantage of Bosh like hes his little play thing. Kobe and Nash can match Lebron and Wade, since Wade's not the flash anymore, but damn he was fast, probably fastest guy in the league before he got hurt, Howard can shutdown Bosh, maybe even Gasol shutdown Bosh. So they have the advantage in terms of players. But with Ray Allen in MIA you also have to guard those corner 3s he loves so much. Going to be fun to watch

Not to mention, the Mamba is going to do his thing and I think Gasol can return to being 'that guy' on the block with his array of post moves. What ailed Gasol last year was the fact he was relegated to taking jumpers since Bynum emerged as the number one target in the post. As mentioned earlier, Howard doesn't have that same level of finesse, so the Lakers should look to Pau for that outlet of scoring.
The bench has also improved too. The addition of Jamison and Meeks instantly adds three point threats that will spread the floor and harken back to D12's time with the Magic. Plus, Nash will find open shooters all day.
Nothing is certain in sports, but the Lakers have formed an extremely formidable team that should give OKC and the Heat a run for their money.
