Rob Gronkowski in just his 2nd year in the NFL posted by far the best season of ALL TIME for a TE!!! He not only shattered the TE TD record, was 13, now 18 (1 rushing), he also set the receiving TE TD record with 17, and to top it off finished with more receiving yards in a single season than any TE EVER beating out Kellen Winslow Jr 1290, and this years Jimmy Graham 1310 with 1327. Gronk's absurb stats for this year are 90 rec, 1327 yards, 14.7 ypc, 17 receiving TDs, all except receptions are best in the league for TE, 6th in the NFL in receiving yards for everyone, 5th in the NFL in receptions, longest reception was a 52 yarder for a TD, led the league in receiving TD's, with ZERO FUMBLES ALL YEAR , 5th in the NFL for 20+ yard catches with 22, he did everything this year. Yards in a year, Tds in a year, he blocked the elite rushes the last 2 years with no help, he ran over, by and tosses some aside with his strength, he is the perfect TE. His yards or TD's may never be broke, but if the are it wont mean as much to that person, bc Gronk broke the yards and TDs in the same season! If he dosen't have a 98 ovr by the end of the season, or bring up his consistancy EA has no right to be making football games. Also congrats to Graham for a record season too who should be a 93, Brady and Brees both need accuracy upgrades bc you don't thow for 5235, and 5476 without being pin-point accurate. And lastly Aaron Hernandez should be a 90+ with 910 yards receiving and 7 TD's in just 12 games, with those 4 games he would have topped 1000 yards to go along with Gronk and Graham to be 1000 yard TEs this season.

Imagine if Gronk and Jimmy Graham stay healthy for most of their careers. They could put up career numbers that may never be duplicated.

Yeah if they both stay healthy, i think more records will fall. It's amazing though the OFF THE CHARTS stats they put up, and Hernandez missed 4 games and was 90 yards away from 1000 yards. If Hernandez and Gronkowski stay with Brady for the next 5-6 years, they will be one of the only, maybe even only TE duo to receive for 1000 yards each in a season, and probably for multiple seasons. Gronk, Hernandez and Graham, maybe even Finley all might be close or break a few records in there bright careers!

Pretty ridiculous that Hernandez and Gronk both have just unbelievable numbers...and they are on the same team!!

No kidding, Gronk holds the yards and tds record in a single season and hernandez in 12 games had 910 yards receiving when the game he got hurt, and the 2 games when he go back he wasnt the same player right away. If he played every game, Gronk and Hernandez both would have gone over 1200 yards probably which is INSANE for 1 TE but 2, AND ON THE SAME TEAM has never been done before bc the most yards by a TE was 1290 and they both could have broke that record which is crazy bc they have the same QB. Bc of Hernandez and Gronk and Graham some TEs in the draft will get drafted higher bc the way these guys are playing. LOL Gronk now has a israeli team name after him!
