June Recap: Mixed Bag of a Month Confuses Fans

The Thunder spent a chunk of June atop the division and they briefly held the best record in the league. When the club lost 11 of its last 13 games of the month, though, fans were dumbfounded. An eight game losing streak was the low-light of the month and now the Thunder find themselves 45-36, tied for second and two gams back of the division leading Fisher Cats.

The pitching is still great. Led by a league-best bullpen, ... Read More

May Recap: Pitching Propels Thunder to a Good Month

A disappointing April had Thunder fans worried but a strong May has restored some optimism to this team. After May, the Thunder stand at 31-23, one game back of the first-place New Hampshire Fisher Cats.

A strong month for the bullpen was largely responsible for the club’s turnaround. The BP has climbed to first in the league in ERA while the starters are still just seventh. Cody Carroll has taken the closer spot, ... Read More

Hold The Phone: Holder Goes Down With Injury

Kyle Holder has been the Thunder’s best bat so far, so losing him is a crushing blow to a middling Trenton offense But, on May 9, that’s exactly what happened.

Holder left a game against the Reading Fightin Phils and was diagnosed with a torn labrum. The infielder will miss roughly four months. Holder was batting a team-high .371, with a .841 OPS. He started all 26 games he played. The Yankees’ 2015 first round draft pick ... Read More

May Recap: Thunder Cool Off After Hot Start

The Thunder got off to a strong start in 2018, winning 11 of their first 16 games. The team has cooled off considerably, though, as Jay Bell’s club finished April 13-11, third in the division and 2.5 games back of the first-place Portland Sea Dogs.

All around, the Thunder look like a middle-of-the-pack team. Their offense is 5th in RS, and then pitching is 4th in RA. The rotation has the 6th-best ERA and looks terribly shaky. ... Read More

Yeah, I'm still on 2K18. I'm an old man marketing hype doesn't work on me; I can wait until September 11. There's no early purchase incentive for MyLeague.

Getting impatient though All the gameplay footage looks great... and I have the AI playing fantastic highly realistic basketball. I'll probably play a quarter or so with all settings "from the factory" initially. I was watching ShadyMike last night: He says he may have spotted one or two sliders that are reversed. Gameplay ... Round 4 Imola

So, we are back in Europe for the fourth round of the 1995 F1 season. Imola has seen some significant safety changes since last time we visited. There has been several changes to the layout itself in an effort to improve safety and maybe produce better racing. However, there are still significant concerns about the changes made, and whether the drivers will embrace the changes.

Since 2009 we have been hosting Madden CFM's or franchises. We pride ourselves in fair and competitive play, tracking all leagues/games stats on the website, a rich history of Super Bowls and records. Currently we are Xbox only, maybe in the future we will expand to Playstation and the PC.

I am a basketball-head... pure... simple.

I saw a YouTube by TruthChaserProtocol today: Haven't really seen him in my feed much in the last 365; today may have actually been the first time. I get the feeling if he is not making YouTubes about how 2K could be better, he is consumed somewhere with basketball. I can relate: I play 2K MyLeague everyday... getting that fix.

Last time I was here I spoke once again about presentation and rage-quitting. I cannot lie: There ... Read More

This is a better way to look at 9 minute quarters. Think of the game in storytelling terms because sports games are dramas with chapters (quarters/innings/rounds) and acts within the quarters, (commercial breaks,
Injury timeouts)

1st quarter:

Has three acts.
Each three minute block is an act.
Three acts accumulate 30 plays.
If you skip cutscenes, you get 3 plays a minute. But if there’s no stoppage of play—penalty, injury timeout, or ... Read More

Oh 'deer', the '84-'85 Milwaukee Bucks. In reality, this club won 72% of their games and served as a nightmare on defense for any opposing team. The team finished second in the eastern conference (behind the Celtics) and made it to the conference semifinals, where they suffered a clean sweep at the hands of Philadelphia 76ers. How are they in the virtual world? Let's find out.
