Mark Trumbo starts a doubleplay at third base

Jered Weaver allowed just 1 run on 4 hits in just over 6 innings of work and Chris Iannetta drove in a pair of runs as the Angels defeated the Rangers 5-1. The Halo victory allowed the Angels to avoid being swept on their visit to Arlington. Weaver improved his record to 4-3 on the year.

The Angels now head home for a 4 game set against the Oakland A's. Dan Haren (3-4, 3.21) is set to face off with Merkin Valdez (0-0, 6.75)
