Utah Whips USC in Pac 12 Debut, 44-31

DeVonte Christopher scores one his two toucdowns on the day

Led by Jordan Wynn Utah made a big splash in their first ever Pac 12 game in defeating pereinal Pac 12 power USC 44-31 in Los Angeles.

Wynn passed for 380 yards and 4 scores with DeVonte Christian catching 2 of those touchdowns as part of his 124 yard receiving day.

Kyle Prater was the start for USC. Prater had his breakout game catching 4 passes for 164 yards and two touchdowns. Trojan QB Matt Barkley threw for 306 yards and 3 scores but was also intercepted 4 times.

The loss drops the Trojans to 1-1 and 0-1 in league play. They will next host the Syracuse Orangemen (1-1). Utah improves to 2-0 and 1-0 in conference play. The Utes will next travel to Provo, Utah to take on their heated rivals BYU.
