NBA Live 10 or NBA 2K10: I am stuck!

I have been an avid fan of both of these games for seemingly an eternity! I cannot decide which one to buy this year! I like the direction both are heading and actually thought NBA Live 09 was better on the court than 2K last year. What are your thoughts on the upcoming game?

i agree, and i think Live 10 will beat 2k10 on the court, but 2k is such a deep game with customization. I wish Live 10 would add as much customization as 2k does.

2K has always beaten Live on the court, so you have reason to think otherwise until you see it. Definitely wait until the demos release at the least. Buying decisions are not made a month and a half in advance for something as small as a game.

im already buying 2k10 i havent touched live since 07 and i dont plan to this year the one thing tht felt like it definetly needed fixing in 2k was the edit/create a player it was just too basic but it looks like tht has been revamped and tht alone has me sold on 2k10

@authentic24 you are right! I hated not having control of my player and facing people who would just dunk relentlessly with Kobe and Lebron. I want skill to matter! So I can't wait for Lives Demo in early Sept. and 2Ks when it drops!!!

Who knows both games may be destined for near greatness!

@shinyhubcaps, I am only weighing the similarities and differences between both games...no major decision! lol
