If you go Mac, and can swing the price, absolutely get the Pro version. The regular macbook's display is about average, maybe a bit better. But the macbook pro's is fantastic. And the standard graphics card will have no problems at all with COD4.

COD4 will run on a regular macbook, and on most windows laptops under $1500. But you'll have to play it at a lower resolution, with low detail.
