The Action Replay for the original Xbox allows you to download and transfer files to your Xbox. If you still play that console on occasion, you may find the Action Replay useful for getting updated rosters, etc. You can buy it here: http://us.codejunkies.com/Products/X..._EF000314.aspx. About the only other place you can find the Action Replay is on ebay. Here are some things you should know:
1) The full Action Replay package comes with a CD (with Action Replay Software), a docking station, and a special 8MB or 16MB memory card (which works with the docking station). You don't need the CD. The most recent version of the software (version 1.42) is available online at http://www.theisozone.com. Here is the exact link for the software: http://www.theisozone.com/downloads/...l-package-usa/. Accordingly, as long as you have the docking station and the special 8MB memory card, you have all you need. Just so you know, you can sometimes find just the docking station and memory card on ebay cheaper than if you buy the original Action Replay package.
2) Windows Vista, 7 and 8 do not recognize the docking station. It's possible that with some advanced computer knowledge that you may find a way to make it work, but the easiest solution is to download VMWare Player https://my.vmware.com/web/vmware/fre...are_player/6_0 and run Windows XP (provided you have a Windows XP disc) as a virtual machine. This link may help you figure out that process: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/11060.
3) Files can be downloaded from http://www.gamefaqs.com or http://us.codejunkies.com/search/cod...at=XBox&page=1.
Hope this helps!
