PS3 Game Save Resigning Tool

PS3 Resigner:

Key Steps:

1) Add profile for PS3 that you need to play game on.
2) Copy roster to desktop
3) Put USB in computer with PS3 / SAVEDATA folder (but no roster file)
4) Drag roster you want to program
5) On top screen hit "Load From" and select the profile you need.
6) Select "Save Profile Changes."
7) Select "Resign."
8) Save to Current USB Drive (which is why you need PS3 / SAVEDATA folder already there but without roster).

--------------------------------------

I recently discovered a new tool, PS3 Save Resigner, which allows PS3 files to be re-signed to your profile. You can find out more here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?annotat...&v=KCmB2TDRA2A and here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0foy0Dkqiqg (this video is easier to understand but I recommend watching both).

This tool didn't work for me at first. I needed to refer to the "Read Me" files which come with the program which I am posting below. Apparently, many people need to replace the "dll" file -- and after I did that I was able to successfully re-sign NBA 2k12 and NBA 2k13 roster files to my profile.

Don't be discouraged if it all seems confusing at first -- once you figure out if you need to replace the "dll" file (trial and error) and get your profile loaded up, it's pretty simple and efficient to use this tool going forward.

Key Steps:

1) Use the "Profiles" tab at the top to create a profile (your profile or the profile of the user you want to save the game for). Type a name for the profile in the white box and then click on "Load from PARAM.SFO" (which means you're loading a profile from a game save file). Then click on "Add New Profile" and then "Save Profile Changes."

2) To "mod" the game file that you want to use, you can either drag the game file into the main area of the screen or click on the "Open" tab at the top to open the file.

3) Once the game file appears, click on "Load From" in the top left (Owner Section) and select the existing profile that you want to use.

4) If you need to change the region, you can click on the "Load From" in the Region Section and obtain the correct region from the applicable PARAM.SFO file (your file if you're resigning to your profile). NOTE: I had a problem with re-signing files from other regions. I was able to transfer other region files to my PS3 without a problem but my NBA 2k12 game "froze" during the "Loading Roster" screen during load-up. Once I deleted that file, however, I ceased having issues.

5. Click on "Resign." You can then save the resigned file to your USB drive so click on "Save to Current USB Drive."

READ ME FILE:

The PS3 Save Resigner Folder is located at:
