I just can't believe we went from Jordan in NBA 2k11 to over 30 classic teams in NBA 2k12 to Bieber! I doubt I will buy NBA Live 13 on release without a major pre-order incentive but what the heck is happening at 2k?

Obviously, its only for street mode, they had guys like Drake, Kanye West, Snoop Dogg in the game before

I really haven't seen much in the way of previews for the new Live, but I am apparently one of the minority of people who LOVED Live '10. Not to say 2k hasn't done a great job the last couple of years, b/c they have, but competition is great for sports games, and I've always had a spot in my heart for the right stick dribble control.

That's nothing... I hear that next year in 2K13, They're going to have Jack Nicholson, Spike Lee, Howard Stern, and Kim Kardasian sitting in the first rows.
With Rihanna and Alicia Keys singing the National Anthems.
And the Black Eye Peas doing a halftime show.

i'm picking up NBA Live 13 over NBA 2K13 this year.

As mentioned, unless there is a significant pre-order incentive, I'll wait on both until the reviews are out.

when i saw Beiber Fever in the IGN preview i was cracking up...have yet to touch the Celeb team but i guess 2k had to do something for an inside joke~~b/c the Server joke got OLD quick..lol

Well, I did pre-order 2k anyway, despite Bieber! My son is loving the All-Star dunk contest. I admit I think the gameplay in 2k13 is good but definitely not loving the left-out legends / missing players on the classic / historic teams.
