Nintendo has created a process that allows you to transfer virtually all of your data from your Original Wii to your new Wii U. However, the data you transfer from your Original Wii is removed. Accordingly, I have heard mixed reactions about the transfer process and some have regretted doing it. There is a workaround if you just want to transfer Original Wii game saves to your Wii U or if you want to do the full transfer but want to re-install your game saves on your Original Wii. This will ... Read More

The Action Replay for the original Xbox allows you to download and transfer files to your Xbox. If you still play that console on occasion, you may find the Action Replay useful for getting updated rosters, etc. You can buy it here: http://us.codejunkies.com/Products/X..._EF000314.aspx. About the only other place you can find the Action Replay is on ebay. Here are some things you should know:

1) The full Action Replay package comes with a CD (with ... Read More

Just another blog about roster editing tools. This one is PS2 Save Builder. This program allows you to change PS2 files from one format to another (e.g., sharkport to max). It's simple and it works.

In working with a few others on transferring roster files, I realized that people can share PS2 files (e.g., roster files, profiles, etc.) much easier than they realize -- it doesn't require exchanging a PS2 memory card provided that each person who wants the file has a PS2 memory card adapter / reader and a PS3:

I officially became a gamer in 2010 when I bought a PS3 Slim at the age of 43. About a year later, I happened to come across someone selling a Fat PS3 (60gb backwards compatible). The price was right so I decided to add that to my collection. Because of the overheating issues that I had heard about (as well as feeling how hot my Fat PS3 could get), I decided not to put it in an entertainment center slot but instead I let it rest "in the open" on top of the entertainment center so it could the ... You may have seen the Cronus Cross-Over Gaming Device advertised -- it's a device which allows you to use an Xbox360 controller on your PS3 and a PS3 controller on your Xbox360. http://cronusdevice.com

I decided to give it a try and it works as indicated with a couple of caveats:

1) You need a WIRED Xbox360 controller in order to use the device. The WIRED Xbox360 controller is used to authenticate the device on both the Xbox360 and PS3.

2) In order to ... Read More

While the general consensus is that NBA 2k13 has superior gameplay, 2k12 for the Xbox360 may eventually be considered a classic because of the roster editing capabilities and numerous historic roster sets that were created (and continue to be created) for the game.

Last Spring, Best Buy exclusively released the "Game of the Year Edition" for 2k12, including the DLC legends on the disc. Apparently, this edition of the game also includes certain classic jerseys that were not available ... Read More

The PS3 Xploder tool does work to resign PS3 rosters and game saves so that the you can transfer files outside of a game's servers (e.g., 2kshare, etc.). It took me a little bit of time to figure out the process but I now have successfully downloaded and transferred rosters to my PS3 and my rosters to others' PS3s.

Here is the tool. I was a little wary about buying online but I did, downloaded it, and they send you an activation code -- you can also find this on Amazon ... Read More

I just canceled my pre-orders for NCAA Football 13 and Madden 13. The reality is these games have never been that much fun for me in comparison to MLB The Show, NBA 2K and FIFA. I donated the money I had allocated to these games to my church.

I'm sure MLB The Show and FIFA will keep me entertained until the Fall, at which time NBA 2K13 will be coming out -- which will keep me entertained until FIFA13 -- and both NBA2K13 and FIFA13 will keep me entertained until MLB 13. And then ... Read More

Just wondering if there would be a market for this game. It seems that lacrosse is quickly becoming a popular game with the youth. Could a lacrosse video game capitalize on that? I think it's possible. Could EA Sports use a lot of the elements of the FIFA game as a starting point to design the game? Thoughts?

I bought a PS3 almost 2 years ago for the primary purpose of playing NCAA Football. Since then, I've tried a number of sports games on the console but MLB 12 The Show and NBA 2k (both 11 and 12) have received the most gameplay. Some others that have captured my attention and for which I have no regrets are: FIFA 12, FIFA Street, Fight Night Champion and Top Spin 4. I have purchased Madden 11 and 12 (both of which have been traded in early on) and NCAA Football 11 and 12. I have kept NCAA Football ... Read More

My next door neighbor and I decided to play each and every bowl game on NCAA Football 12. We are using Luvtotha9s' latest roster set and 7 minute quarters. We had a coin flip to determine the order in which we would select teams (alternate thereafter for each bowl game).

In the Gildan New Mexico Bowl, Temple won 28-16 over Wyoming.
