How many Chicago Bears fans are scared to watch next week's game against the Cowboys?
Posted on September 13, 2010 at 11:27 AM.
After watching the Bears struggle against the Detroit Lions yesterday, including an inability to score from the ONE YARD line after 4 tries, who else is anxious about next week's game against the Cowboys? While Forte looked great, there wasn't much else that made me say "This year is going to be different from last year." While the Cowboys didn't look too hot against the Skins, you have to think they are salivating at the mouth to let some steam off against the Bears.

So how will we do against the Cowboys? Will it even be close?

Thoughts?

I was afraid to watch the Lions game. This team just isn't that good.

Im actually gonna be at this game in Dallas. I have no expectations for the Bears, and will be wearing my Bears jersey with caution. However, the team as a whole looked better than indicated. The glaring problem which caused alot of the turnovers seems to be the offensive line. Cutler was running for his life and seemed to have little time to make decisions in the pocket (especially for a Martz offense in which there are alot of 7 step drops). Forte was juking multiple defenders in the backfield the whole game and the Lions D-Line had a field day. The Defense looked good though.

I am worried about the game at Dallas. Should be interesting.

As for the blown call, it definitely was catch to me. But to say the Bears shouldn't have won the game is incorrect. Had the catch been ruled a TD, there was still time on the clock for the Bears to score. So the game was in no way over.

This is the only comment stream Ive ever seen where every single person is absolutely right...crazy. BTW, i think that Ill be more excited to see Cowboys stadium than to watch the team I saw yesterday.

It was a catch. Most Bears fans will agree. However, the Lions are used to having stuff like this happen to them. As for next week, Dallas didn't look that spectacular in week one. Our defense actually looked good for most of the game, though it was against the Lions. I do think with Urlacher and Peppers, and a secondary that's not completely pathetic now, the defense is much stronger.

It is very disturbing that the Bears couldn't get into the end-zone from the one yard line with four attempts. Nothing has changed from last year.

I have two NFL teams I cheer for. The Redskins and whoever else is playing the Cowboys.

The Bears are in trouble. Dallas just needs to work some details out and then they will be lights out.

I love the fact the Redskins fan hates us so much. They still think they are our rivals. While people in Dallas consider the Eagles and Giants rivalry games a bigger deal then playing the Redskins. Let's face it Redskins fans... the rivalry has been dead since the early 90's.

i'm think bears should be ok, i mean they did have two turnovers in the redzone eliminate those and the bears probably wouldn't have been in the situation.

It was a catch, but Im glad it was ruled in the Bears favor. I think the O-line is a problem (and Bowman). I am predicting a loss against Dallas.

If games were played on paper, and they played out the way they make sense to, we wouldn't need to watch them, now would we?

It will be an extremely competitive contest. My beloved cowboys do not hold up against 43 defenses, but all in all, I wouldn't be surprised to see Chicago steal this one on the road. Final 17-13- bears could win
