With the playoffs winding down, I've noticed each conference gets their own station for conference championships. In Madden the presentation has become stale, especially after playing so much of the game. They could always add cutaways and more player background stories and things of this nature. But I'm under the impression that with the new consoles the only limitation is the imagination. So would ABC, NBC,CBS, NFL Network, and ESPN broadcasts be too much to ask for?
NFC: Fox
AFC: CBS
MNF: ESPN
Sunday Night: NBC

Madden will never be innovative again. They stopped adding new ways to play the game in 2005. Remember vision cones? Great idea, could have been improverd upon. It added the cat and mouse game of looking the safty off. With the analytics of todays game. Think about it, you could figure out a player tends to look off the reciever on third and long. You could the call a defense designed to take advantage. How do you scout a team?
The gam is stale, and boring. They have not managed to bring the excitemnt of the NFL to the game.

No competition = no reason to go the extra mile to make a better game. As long as Madden is the only football game on the market (even worse now because there is no college game to compete with it as well), EA will continue doing "just enough" every year so that Madden isn't a disaster, but they have no real incentive to push the envelope in making it a great game.

The last thing I am worried about with Madden is having different networks for the games. There are a lot bigger things to worry about then that.

I'd imagine licencing costs would be too high. But this is something I have wanted for a while now.

They have no reason so be anything more that the dry representation of the greatest sport on Earth of which they have been doing for almost a decade now. No competition means we get the same cookie cutter, cheating, uninspired presentation, with bad AI that they have been pushing out the door for years.
Cheers to the NFL and Rodger Goddell for making it so that more competent developers like 2K can not longer make a Football game worth playing.
Even more so thank God I wont be buying this crap anymore. How they managed to make the next Gen version play worse than the last gen one is still beyond me.

licensing costs would be the only deterrent.
