After years of being the doormat of their conference, the UNLV Rebels are showing renewed strength and commitment this year. Even though the Rebels ended 2011 with a record of 2-10, new head coach Bobby Hauck brought a new attitude to the team; an attitude that finishing at the bottom of the standings will not be acceptable anymore.
With a very difficult schedule, the Rebels will be hard pressed to improve their win record but a strong recruiting class (including QB Nick Sherry) and strong development of players, there is finally some light visible at the end of the tunnel for Rebels fans.
