One of the most valuable things to have on your NBA 2K12 squad is a defensive stopper, someone who can guard the opposing team’s best player in crunch time. Using a combination of Defensive Awareness, On Ball Defense, and Steal or Block, I’ve attempted to rate the top perimeter defenders in NBA 2K12. While the formula is probably a little flawed, it sums the defensive awareness, on ball defense and a player’s steal or block rating, whichever is higher, to create a final number. Here is the list. It includes guards and small forwards only.

With a dynamic scorer, solid big man, fantastic wing players and a couple of young studs on your team, only one thing is missing. A bonafide sixth man. In this installment of 12 in '12, let's take a look at my favorite 12 players for the 'Sixth Man' role in NBA 2K12.

Sales of NBA 2K12 look to be well below last year's record-breaking totals. By all accounts the NBA Lockout, plus a less than enticing effort, has given many gamers enough reason to not fork over $60 for the game this year. Given the end of the lockout and the reintroduction of accurate and up to date rosters, should gamers who passed up on the game initially take a look at the game one more time?

Madden 12 has been a very polarizing game for many longtime Madden fans. OS Staff Writers, by now you have all heard the news about the fourth NCAA title update not including a fix for player tendencies. To some this is an absolutely huge deal and to others it seems as if they are perfectly content with the game as-is. But let's go beyond that; let's discuss whether the string of bugs this year, plus the lack of any patchable resolution will be detrimental to NCAA 13, or will the blunders of NCAA Football 12 be forgotten by many next July?

Every year it seems that the NFC South has the potential to be the most competitive division in the NFL. Traditionally, the NFC South has historically been topsy-turvy, and has actually seen the team finishing at the bottom one year, rise to the top the next year. The 2009 season brings four very exciting teams to the NFC South once again. Every team in the NFC South has to feel like their team can win the division in 2009. With that in mind, here's a breakdown of the division and each team's key players. Teams are listed in predicted order of finish. Also included in parenthesis are the teams 2008 regular season record.
