Central Michigan Chippewas (3-4, 1-3 Away) | Georgia State Panthers (5-2, 3-0 Home) | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Georgia State is coming off a 51-7 domination of Arkansas State at home. The bad news for Central Michigan in this one is that they are significantly worse than Arkansas State. Georgia State should roll in this one and continue to bolster their defensive ratings with another strong performance. Also this would be Coach Bays' 10th home victory.

This game was very similar to the last one for Georgia State. The offense didn't have to punt a single time, nor did they turn it over a single time. In fact, every single Panther possession ended with points for them. Aaron Winchester had another massive day as he threw for 220, ran for 95, and scored 6 total touchdowns en route to the blowout win. The defense held the opponent in check once again and Jerome Smith now owns the school records for Interceptions in a Season and Interceptions in a Career. FR DE Walter Anderson has been playing very well and he may break Mackendy Cheridor's one year old sack record if he keeps it up. Taz Bateman ran for over 9 yards per carry for 165 yards total and a touchdown. Tamir Jones continued his hot streak by hauling in 7 receptions, 2 of which were touchdowns. Next week is another bad opponent for Georgia State so we could see another ugly game early.
