The defense was shredded once again as Tulsa threw and ran the ball at will but the offense put up enough points of their own to coast to a comfortable win. A near perfect game offensively including no sacks allowed and no interceptions is part of the reason for the win. Taz Bateman set a school record for rushing in a single game by taking his 35 carries for a whopping 222 yards and 3 touchdowns. Aaron Winchester was precise and efficient throwing for 2 touchdowns and running for 2 more. SR TE Ari Werts continued a hot start to the season although for the first time this year he did record a touchdown.
