This class is headlined by JUCO athlete Deon Thomas who has high speed and good coverage ratings, which should immediately allow him to slot in as Antreal Allen's replacement at Free Safety. The additions of new help on defense will be huge as 9 of last years starters will graduate allowing a new look defense to be fielded in 2014. This class is a little less exciting on offense with the exception of 3-star quarterback Amir Hoffman who should get a shot to start within a year or two. He has good speed for a quarterback which could allow him to recreate some of the dual-threat success that Aaron Winchester had in limited playing time in 2013.
