Preview:
Georgia State comes into this game mad after another road loss, this time badly. Conner Manning has now gone two games without throwing a single touchdown and after last week's meltdown there is again whispering about a quarterback change coming. Glenn Smith has been on a hot streak in which he has nearly broken the 200-yard barrier three times in four games. On the bright side, the normally weak defense has looked strong the last two weeks, making the job easier for the offense on the other side.

Recap:
The defense let down their end of the bargain one more time this season, nearly allowing 50 points on the road. However this time Conner Manning looked determined to prove his doubters wrong. He came back to toss a school record five touchdowns in this one to pull out the win in a shootout. Glenn Smith did not get his usual touches as the focus of the gameplan shifted to the air today. Penny Hart ended his quiet streak by racking up school records in multiple categories with his monster day.
