UMass Preseason 2012
When asked about his recruiting efforts and redshirts this preseason coach Smith only had the following to say:
“I have just finalized the list of players who will be sitting out this season to add more depth for the future of the team. Right now that is my main priority is building for the future. Unfortunately not many players are looking at UMass to play ball for so unless we have anything out of the ordinary happen I will not have any further comments on that for most likely the season”
