Week 1 - Overall Team Power Rankings
ELITE
1.Cowboys- From top to bottom, this team has all the weapons. Romo can move just enough, they have a dual headed monster and tons of different WR types.
On Defense - They have tremendous speed in the secondary and the ability to exchange pieces and play any style.

Beating Tough D In Madden

Here is a great write up by forum member JDub15! He gives us some great advice about how to fight and claw when playing a really tough opponent on defense. Sgibs played a tough match on TWIM 22 and was able to eek out a 6-3 win with some of these tactics as well!

Does this make the Vikings the best team in Madden 11? How about of all-time?


We have talked about how the Patriots were the greatest team in all of Madden history during Madden 08.

Hi, my name is ZFarls and I am addicted to the blitz. The problem for me so far in Madden 11 is that when I play Cover 0 (No safety help) and force a short throw, the RB can often break one tackle and be off to the races. While, the O can't beat me deep, due to my blitz pressure, short throws on long downs like 3rd and 17 are often picked up due to 1 tackle being busted.

Here is what I expect out of my passing plays.


-A quick read that must be defended against


-A route that consistently beats man


-The option to add protection based on defensive look

What are we loving about Madden 11? What could use some work?


While the general gameplay and overall feel of the game is solid, here is where the game could be better…

Clearly thats the idea which is DOMINATING talk right now. If something isn't broken then why fix it? Here are a few more thoughts from my 3 games with the Xbox demo so far...

-Strategy Pad, hmm, lets not jump to conclusions…I HATE IT. Not because it doesn’t work, but almost because they changed it for no reason. Ex. Slide the line used to be trigger then direction. They dont stink but they aren't ELITE any more! (Top 3, no way)

Since Madden 08, the Chargers have been an incredibly solid Madden team. They possesed all the key pieces that you need to win at the tournament level.
