5 Best NCAA 11 Improvements!
Posted on July 16, 2010 at 11:56 AM.
With every new season, a gamer must look into his heart and ask himself, has this game changed enough for me to drop down the dinero for it?
For kids, it can be hard to scrounge up the 60 dollars and get a ride to the mall. For adults it can be even harder to justify spending the cash in the midst of a downturn when other responsibilities like your child’s braces may be popping up.
Others, may buy every NCAA but find Madden similar and only buy it once every few years. How many FIFA and World Cup games do you need in a short span? (Need vs Want, I WANT them all!)
The next generation versions of NCAA have been sub par when compared to the absolute MASTERPIECES such as NCAA 03 and NCAA 04. Those games were at the top of their class for overall EA Sports games and helped build up this brand from a forgotten about precursor to Madden, to a game that dominates college campuses and consistently delivers the pagentry of college sports that fans crave.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...SIN=B003CJLOEM has so far garnered a positive media reputation and critical acclaim. In order to find out the ways EA raised its compete level, Madden Bible checked in with some community leaders to find out what makes NCAA 11 a must buy!

1. @ButcherBlackKKZ of KonsoleKing “For me I say the ESPN presentation by far has made this game feel like ice cold banana pudding on a long summer day.
No doubt here, its been frustrating to know that EA has had the ESPN license for this long and only finally used it, it looks amazing! The game looks completely overhauled from a presentation standpoint and looks like it was a huge focus of the development team. The gameplay almost looks completely rebranded in that sense. The best presentation before NCAA 11 was from every EA bashers favorite game, but that title is simply an afterthought after seeing NCAA 11.

2. Adam Kramer of www.kegsneggsblog.com @KegsnEggsThe ESPN integration is fantastic, but the game as a whole just feels better to me. Smoother movements, the players have real weight to them this year, not just the pull-on-the-string jukes from past games.”
The running game takes patience and learning of the new dual stick controls but it is awesome. With the new blocking system in place, runs take time to develop and you feel rewarded after busting a “big” 10 yard gain. Older versions you could haul it for 20 yards to the outside without navigating through any traffic at all!

3. EA Sports Community Leader @Raczilla Story Builder. I’m a big fan of writing and following dynasty recaps. Makes dynasty more fun when you can look back at it.
Agree here, while not everyone will use this feature, it makes for a more in depth game experience and helps give a feeling of flow to a season rather then just playing 12 individual games! Traditional games have story lines while sports gamers often develop the story lines themselves and keep a running commentary in their head. This idea could change the way sports games are developed and fans interact with them!

4. Madden Bible’s own @Sgibs7 “the ability to by pass the auto drop back. You can evade pass rushers by sprinting backwards. This only can be done if your first step is beyond the back of the horizontal plane. If you try and sprint forward the auto drop back will take place.”
Gibs has always been an advocate for getting rid of bad snaps and auto dropback. This will help the user alleviate some of the pressure from the defense and lets you control the action on the field. When you don’t feel rushed, you can truly notice more minor details about the game.
To add on, @rudyjuly2 “NCAA 11>10 – “slower passing speeds, slower game speed, better camera, better sideline awareness, better sounds and overall polish”
For people who are tired of getting dominated online or sacked instantly, they may now stick around for a few more games, improve and then really get into the community!

5. EA Sports Game Changer Anton Bland @anton32 Gameplay, OD! The Devs really listened to the community!!”
Anton has had unique access to seeing how the sausage gets made over at EA. He understood that fans were generally using NCAA 10 as a training tool and time waster until Madden came out. For a company as large as EA which takes too much heat for being the leader, they did a great job at listening to their community. The updates in this game such as slowing everything down and polishing the game shows a company that cares despite its size and market share. Ultimately, every gamer who feels connected and listened to will go out and get this gem of a game!
Overall NCAA 11 is a great game that will stand up to the test of time and remain great even when Madden 11 comes out. It is the best offering on next gen so far and a game that we recommend here at Madden Bible!
