ESPN has released the Packers ratings for Madden 10 here
Cutler is better than me?
Brett...Hang it up
It hurts my brain to think about Brett Favre and the Green Bay Packers saga. Im not gonna elaborate on the situation as you should have heard about it by now. The pack is a new team and well...they are very average.
Strength- They have a top five secondary (93,93,90) and even the new ratings couldn't take that away. The D-line and Lb's are average but if they start out with some wins, updates could be very friendly.
Weakness- Ryan Grant is back on earth (85) and their O-line is very average. The WR's are pretty solid but not much depth there or height. It could just be the new ratings but I expected them to be alot better for some reason.
However, Sgibs has found some Madden gems and is in love with the packers...
The Green Bay Packers are certainly and intriguing team. The Packers are one of the only teams in the league that have more then one playmaker on both sides of the balls. The packers are certainly loaded with Madden Gems. Lets take a Lambeau leap into the 2010 Madden NFL Packers!
QB- Aaron Rodgers- Key Stats: Rodgers finally “got his”. Last season he was able to showcase his talent that had previously been shelved for the wrangler wearing, back yard football playing, gun slinging Brett Favre. Not only did the entire NFL take notice EA did as well. His 86 overall, 94 throw power, and 69 speed raise him to “elite” status in Madden. Compliment Rodgers ratings with big targets such as, Jordy Nelson and Jeramichael Finley and you can expect big points from this unit.
TE- Jeramichael Finley- Key Stats: If you were to ask me who I thought was the biggest Madden Gem in all of Madden 2009, I would say this man right here. Without a doubt he is a game changer. He is 6’5, has 79 speed, and a amazing 92 jump at tight end. The ability to RC will render him a bit less for the Madden 2010 season. If you play with the Packers in 2010, I recommend making Finely your focal point.
SS- Aaron Rouse- Key Stats: On the defensive side of the ball there aren’t many that stand six feet four inches tall. Not many can say they are, mediocre to sub par on Sundays, but a absolute all star in Madden. Well Rouse can say both. He posseses average speed (79) , he has average tackling ability (67), and he hes average catching (63). He does have height though. That 6’4 frame, when user controlled, can make him be one of the most feared user players in all the game. Click on and make BIG PLAYS!
