Ahh, time to speculate!

Does this make the Vikings the best team in Madden 11? How about of all-time?

We have talked about how the Patriots were the greatest team in all of Madden history during Madden 08.
Now that Moss is officially on the Vikings, does this make them the greatest offense in Madden history?
How do the 08 Pats and 11 Vikings Matchup?

QB � Brady vs Favre and TJack
Brady in 08 was fierce, he had great THP and ACC, and the deep ball was in play on every throw. Favre is older but CAN get the job done. Jackson gives you a quick threat and boost for gadget plays which is nice. Overall 08 Pats still have the edge

RB � Maroney, Evans Vs Adrian Peterson
Adrian Peterson is a FERRARI, besides CJ2K there is no other back like him. You could put all the Patriots 08 backs together and come nowhere near the power. Evan was solid on the FB Dives, but AP simply gives the edge to the Vikings with gamebreaking potential on every drive.

WR�s Moss, Stallworth, Caldwell, Welker, Gafney � VS. Moss, Harvin,Rice, Berrian
08 Moss wearing that number 6 jersey was an enormous target who could Spec catch everything. Madden 11 Moss is not as effective and the game plays alot different, however he still forces double coverage!
Stallworth made the whole offense work with his seam splitting speed, Harvin is Stallworth but with way better strength.
Welker was a slouch early, but got better with updates. Rice exploded onto the scene last year before his injury and should be all set for the end of the Season. Berrian may be the most useless real life WR of all time, but his speed in Madden goes along way, especially as a very low option. Gaffney was actually pretty decent, but other than the younger version of Moss, gotta like Minny here.

TE- Watson Vs Schiancoe
Watson was ran a great route in our 5 wr run n gun scheme He had pretty good speed (84, should I still remember that?)
Shiancoe is good, but the Vikings have so many WR�s you probably dont need him on the field as much.
Slight edge to Pats and Watson

Patriots O-Line was FIERCE, they added all those weapons and almost everyone had one by seasons end. Vikings have a few premiere OL and are very solid. You are able to pound the rock and with gap heat being quiter this year, you can run out of better formations.
Patriots O-Line probably better, but Madden 11 is better for Vikings � Tie

Defense - Both were solid up front and had some slow linebackers. Neither struck fear into opponents, but both are solid enough to win you some games. Patriots had better corners but not as good of a natural pass rush. At the end of the day, I�d take the Pats depth over the Viking little more natural speed. Can�t hate on the strength of the Viking D-Line.

So after reviewing the facts, the 08 Patriots are now on watch as the greatest Madden Offense of All Time. We must see how Madden 11 continues to play and if users will now run to use the Vikings. Moss isn�t the same and the game doesn�t play the same, BUT they have far to many weapons at skill positions to not see a huge boost in games used online. Get ready to see a whole lot of Minnesota online!
