Random Stats of the Day
I'm basically going to assign a title to each of these links... they are a link to various specified play index queries I conducted on basketball-reference.com... it's up to you to read the qualifying statistics and make sense of them. I'm just pin-pointing what they can actually mean. Some of you may find it fascinating, while some of you may find good tweaks to better reach the goal that the title suggests... I encourage you to take part in this and interact... who's to say we can't use stats to make an argument... especially when it's so easy in this internet age?

Note: I especially find the players who played for multiple teams interesting. Nash, Dikembe, Moses, Hersey, Christie, and Barkley... their services were starter-worthy at all times wherever they went.

3 OR less Personal Fouls

It's not perfect because of it's simplistic nature but you can check a barebones boxscore and determine a QDG, and when racked up over an entire season, the better defenders consistently top the charts.

Ben Wallace was a long-time QDG title holder. LeBron won the title last year.
