When we last met the Texans in week 13 there was also plenty of air under the ball most of the day. Both Schaub and Cassel lit it up. We were unsuccessful that day, which meant we were highly motivated this day!
The key to this game, never let up!
We put up 584 total yards in this one and they surpassed that.
We put up 327 passing yards and they surpassed that.
The running game...not so much! We owned that this week.
So once again it was a combination of tenacious offense and relentless defense and, frankly, I think we just wanted this one more because we know where we've been and want to get there again. Experience and pride go an awfully long way in football and I sincerely believe we exhibited a whole lot of both in Houston.
This win sets up a Divisional Final for us again this season. We'll just wait for the opponent!
