The middle part of our schedule is brutal, especially after such a slow start. Coming off of the Broncos, then the Pats, then the Raiders, it was next time for the Chargers. And because we're sitting at the bottom of the AFC West, we're looking up at all of our rivals. The Chargers came in 5-3 and we 3-5.
Matt Cassel got the job done. Philip Rivers looked better on the stats sheet at the end of the game, in terms of rating, but Matt put the points up on the board to allow us to win!
He also used almost all of his weapons, with the running game responding better than it has of late and the wide outs doing a heck of a job getting open down field. Leoni, Mack and McAlister, just to single out three, accounted for 19 catches and a TD.
We are edging our way to .500 football on the year, but like I said, it doesn't get any easier as we go. Up next, the Pittsburgh Steelers, another team struggling in 2015 with an identical 4-5 record. I hope we're coming out of our funk faster than the Steelers are there's!
