I'm pretty sure both teams did take the field for defense on occasion, but from the score, you would be hard-pressed to track down the defensive stats for this one.
Unfortunately with this loss, to yet another division rival, we drop to 0-3 and sit last in the AFC West.
I am really beginning to worry about the entire team. It seems like we haven't yet found our legs this year and we're three weeks in! We are the Super Bowl Champs and we simply are not acting like them!
In this game, Matt Cassel had a respectable outing, throwing for four touchdowns, but couldn't get the job done!
In this game our wide outs Bowe, Mack and McAlister all caught passes for touchdowns, but couldn't get the job done!
In this game we had 148 yards on the ground from Chris Johnson, but couldn't get the job done!
Coach Harbaugh and I talk on a daily basis now and we are both quite perplexed. The team seems to look good and respond well in practice, we show flashes of brilliance in games, but we don't yet have that killer instinct to take and hold a lead and put other teams away!
As I mentioned last week, we you look down the roster, this essentially is the championship team from earlier this year. I don't believe wholesale changes are in order, but trust me, we are scouring the depth chart and the stats to look for any weakness and will plug an holes we find...you can be assured!
