Re-Signings:

RG Albert
After his Pro-Bowl appearance, we had some work to do to re-sign him this off-season, but I am happy to say that we have agreed to a 5-year/43-million contract to solidify our offensive line.

P Colquitt
We liked what we saw the past couple of seasons and have decided to renew him to a 2-year/2-million contract!

WR Mack
After making a significant trade for him last season, we're thrilled to announce that he is now a Chief for 5-years/33.5-million.

FB Mughelli
Has re-signed for 2-years/6.95-million.

SS Frazier
We were very impressed with him this past season and have re-signed him to 4-years/24.25-million.

Extensions:

We're also very happy to report that we have extended the following, as they were going into their final contract years:

MLB D.Johnson
He had an outstanding year and we want more of the same over the next few. We've just signed a new 3-year/14.5-million contract to keep him in KC.

CB Keys
We feel it's very important to keep our outstanding secondary in place. To that end, we have agreed to a 5-year/55-million contract extension!

Off-Season Trades:

I would also like to announce the following trades.

We have traded FS Page and RT McLaurin, plus a 5th Round draft pick to the Chicago Bears for HB D.Profit.

And we have traded FS Hixon, plus 2nd and 3rd Round draft picks to the Detroit Lions for their 3rd and 4th draft picks.

Final Moves before Draft:

Coach Harbaugh also had some last minute and key moves to suggest.
* in reality, I forgot to reset the CPU settings to USER after hiring the new head coach and Coach Harbaugh did indeed make a few "moves" himself...

The Chiefs are proud to announce that they have signed Free Agent - HB Chris Johnson to a 6-year/48.84-million contract for the coming year. And also Free Agent - TE Aaron Danton to a [b]1-year/310-thousand/B] contract.

As a result, we also announce that both TE Cottam and LG Alleman have been released (with 2 years each left on their contracts).
